Wayne was born on March 17th 1939 in Crawford, Nebraska, one of 5 children. His mother, Eva, moved her family to Highland OR in 1948 where Wayne attended school and graduated from Colton High School in 1957. Wayne went on to attend Seattle University where he met Glenda Rice. Wayne knew a good thing when he saw it and they were married in September 1959. Wayne worked as a Pulp and Paper Water Treatment specialist and sales manager and later as an entrepreneur. He was an avid golfer with an impressive handicap. Wayne loved the outdoors: skiing, fishing, and camping. He had a life-long love of music, always remembered for singing, playing his guitar, and later learning to play the bass so he could contribute to the Parish Choir.

Wayne loved his Faith and his family-both were important to him. Married to Glenda, his dear wife for 66 years, he leaves a legacy of love and joy to his three children: Kenneth, Gary, and Cathy, his 12 grandchildren: Mark, Michelle, Tim, Julia, Robert, Larry, Howard, Michael, Elizabeth, Claire, Mary, and Bridget, and his 4 great-grandchildren: Asha, Arwyn, Ayla, and Scout.

Wayne filled a room with his personality and love of life and we deeply feel his absence.
