Robert Lee Komm

Robert Lee Komm was born to Elke and Ruby Beld in Hettinger, North Dakota on April 28th, 1952 and passed away peacefully at Higher Living Adult Family Home in Hazel Dell, Washington on September 12th, 2025.

Sometime after Elke Beld’s death – possibly when Robert was around the age of 11 – Robert and his brother David were adopted by his aunt Jane Komm (Beld) and her husband Edwin Komm. The Komm family lived near Ellingson, South Dakota until the fall of 1964 when they moved to Battle Ground, Washington where Robert lived until entering Higher Living in January of 2022.

During Robert’s lifetime he liked to keep busy by doing yard work, making and selling firewood, taking road trips and dropping in on his Christian friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Jane, and his brother David.

He is survived by a number of cousins and numerous Christian friends.

Graveside services and interment will be at Elim Cemetery with a graveside viewing at 2:30 PM and graveside funeral services at 3:00 PM, September 18th, 2025.
