Reuben Don Gosney

Reuben Don Gosney, 72, of Ridgefield WA passed away suddenly on Monday Morning February 16, 2026.

Reuben was born in Townsend MT, the youngest of 5 siblings to Eldon and Esther (Rippe) Gosney. He graduated from Ridgefield High School and went straight into the workforce. He worked several jobs over the years including the family-owned business Gosney’s Autobody Spa in downtown Ridgefield, Alcoa, Boise Cascade and eventually retired from his own business T&G Trucking.

Reuben married his first wife of 46 years Karen (Greene) Gosney in July of 1974 and had two children. He was an avid car enthusiast and at any given time you could find him making new friends at a Rod Run, Car show or Swap meet or even in his garage/shop working on one of his or a friend’s latest projects.

Reuben had an energy and zest for life that was unmatched until he met and married his long time friend and second wife Carol Hemminger in April of 2025. They embarked in a life together full of adventure, laughter and love. It was a joy to witness.

Reuben was preceded in death by his Wife of 46 years Karen in 2020, Sister Claudine Tipton and his Parents Eldon and Esther.

He is survived by his Wife Carol, Daughter Jennifer (Gordon), Son Joshua (Tiffany), Sister Carol Royal, Brothers Todd Gosney and Roy Gosney, 6 Grandchildren, Reuben (Gillian) Winter, Larissa Winter, Maylee Gosney, Natalee Oster, Troyce Gosney and Liam Gosney as well as 3 Great Grandchildren, Numerous Cousins and a Plethora of friends.

A Celebration of life is planned and will be held at St. John Lutheran Church on Saturday March 14, 2026, at 10:30 located at 11005 NE Hwy 99 Vancouver WA 98686
