In Loving Memory of Michael “Mick” Ray Kipp

June 2, 1953 – June 9, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Michael Ray Kipp, lovingly known to family and friends as Mick, on June 9, 2026, at the age of 73.

Mick was a God-fearing man whose faith guided him throughout his life. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a loyal friend. His unwavering faith, strong character, and deep love for his family were evident in all that he did. He lived his life with integrity, compassion, and a servant’s heart, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Above all else, Mick cherished his family. He shared a loving and devoted marriage with his wife, Crystal Kipp, who was his partner, confidant, and greatest blessing. Together they built a life founded on faith, love, and commitment.

Mick was the proud father of Tambree Watson, Krissi McCann, Jessica Strange, Melissa Hunter, and Melinda Bennett. He found immense joy in watching his family grow and took great pride in the lives and accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.

He was a beloved grandfather to Micah Stalder, Kobey Eaton, Kanen Eaton, Gavin Hunter, Riley Bennett, and Cody Bennett, each of whom held a special place in his heart. The time he spent with his grandchildren brought him great happiness, and the memories they shared will be treasured forever.

Outside of his devotion to family and faith, Mick found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved watching classic Westerns and could often be found enjoying the stories and characters that reflected the values he admired. He was an expert gardener who took great pride in cultivating beautiful gardens and sharing the beauty of his work with others. Mick also had a deep appreciation for nature and especially enjoyed watching the wildlife that visited his backyard. Whether tending his gardens or observing God’s creation, he found peace, purpose, and contentment.

Mick is survived by his wife, Crystal Kipp; his daughters, Tambree Watson, Krissi McCann, Jessica Strange, Melissa Hunter, and Melinda Bennett; his grandchildren, Micah Stalder, Kobey Eaton, Kanen Eaton, Gavin Hunter, Riley Bennett, and Cody Bennett; his sisters, Linda Hermeston and Marcia Kipp; his mother-in-law, Donna Estes; his brother-in-law, Ray Estes; his sisters-in-law, Coral Estes, Lois Wood and Alethea Estes and son in law Robert McCann along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Brogan; his father, Jack Kipp; his stepfather, Pat Brogan and his brother, Kenny Kipp.

Those who knew Mick will remember his steadfast faith, his willingness to help others, his quiet strength, and the love he freely gave to family and friends. His life was a testament to the values he held dear, and his example will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know him.

While our hearts mourn his passing, we find comfort in knowing that Mick is now at peace in the presence of the Lord he faithfully served throughout his life. His legacy of faith, love, kindness, and devotion will live on through his family and all whose lives he touched.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
