Mary Lorene (Kautz) Turner, Age 68, of Vancouver, WA, passed away of respiratory failure on Sept. 2, 2023.

Mary was born on Sept. 24, 1954, in Vancouver to Ray and Bonnie Kautz. She graduated from Hudson’s Bay in 1972, with many classmates remaining lifelong friends. Mary had a long, successful career in accounting. Her unwavering loyalty and exceptional work ethic were admired by those who knew her.

After finding that she had an incurable lung disease, Mary was blessed with receiving a double lung transplant, which gave her a difficult but much appreciated additional few years. Mary’s courage, and the peace and strength she found through her Christian faith _ especially at the end of her life _ will always be remembered.

Mary is survived by her beloved children, daughter, Megan Turner; and sons, Nick (Claudine) Turner and Matt (Randi) Turner; grandchildren, Trevor, McKenzie, Nicole, Teryn, Riley and Bailey Turner; great-grandson, Bentley; sisters, Carleen (Perry) Stephens and Susan (Randy) Ross; lifelong friend, Sally Foster; cousin, Lynn Loewen; ex-husband, Jerry (Eva) Turner; and extended family. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David.

Her homegoing service is on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at 10 a.m. at the Battle Ground, WA, location of New Heights Church.
