Linda Kay Simon

Linda Kay Simon passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026 at the age 78. Her family and many Christian friends were at her side. 

She was born on March 11, 1948 in Vancouver, WA to Ted and Millie Nylund. She was a life long member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.

She met and married Joe Simon in Elkton, Maryland on September 6, 1969. They returned to Clark County in 1975 and raised their family in Battle Ground.

Linda is survived by her 9 children: Julie (Eric) Kuenzel of Moorcroft, Wy; Lorrie of Battle Ground, WA; Lisa (Ian) Hodges of Battle Ground, WA; Connie (Billy) Lynn of Ridgefield, WA; Mike (Heather) of Davenport, WA; Joseph (Margaret) of Battle Ground, WA; Bern Young of Vancouver, WA; Peter (Carla) of Battle Ground, WA; Emily (Caleb) Bergmann of Battle Ground, WA. 31 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Along with brothers Steven (Julie) and Eric (Kim).

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Mike, and sister Susie.

Linda enjoyed traveling, walking in the evening, puzzles, reading, laundry, late night visit with her children, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a steadfast Christian example and welcomed all in her home.
