Leland Paul Heidegger was born on August 24, 1952 in Ontario, OR to Albert Heidegger and Dorothy (Blakeman).

He lived a life of complicated health problems but whole heartedly embraced working as a logger, farmer, dairyman, and large equipment operator. He was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church and looked so forward to hearing his Sunday sermons. He lived each day with a gentle, thankful heart and had no hesitation showing his love and kindness to all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann of 32 years, beloved son, Emmet Michael.

Also surviving, bothers: Charles with Elaine, Chap with Mary, Ben with Lori, and Wesley with Sarah. Sisters: Virginia with Steve Korpela, Vivian with Jay Harvester, Lillian with James Tapani, Edith with Howard Ek, Patricia Heidegger, Ramona with Lorin Lehtola, sister-in-law Faye Heidegger, brother-in-law Stanley Uskoski, and stepmother Shelley Heidegger.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Albert and Dorothy (Blakeman) Heidegger, brother Edward Heidegger, and sister Elizabeth Uskoski.
