Judith Ann Ost, née Collier, was born in Dublin, Ireland, on Jan. 4, 1944, to Una and Robert Collier. She was the eldest of eight children. She and her family immigrated to United States in 1957. In 1961 she wed Larry Broadfoot and had three children, Raymond, Randy, and Rhonda. She later wed Robert (Corky) W. Ost and had one son, Adrian Ost. Judy and Corky settled in Battle Ground, Washington in 1983.
Judy was a successful business woman, establishing the Battle Ground Insurance Agency. She is remembered in the community as being active in local charities and the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce. She will also be remembered for the lasting relationships and impact she made on her colleagues and friends.
Judy is survived by four children, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; and her six siblings, Barbara Donaldson, Annabel Faris, Barry Collier, Maeve Minihane, Dorothea Collier, and Geraldine Rogers. There will be a memorial service at Battle Ground Community Center on Friday, April, 5 at 2:00 p.m. There will also be a private graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6 at Crawford Cemetery in Battle Ground.
