Fred Milo Harris

Fred Milo (Mike) Harris was born March 14, 1945 in Lebanon, Oregon. The fourth child of Charles and Alfreda Harris. He grew up in Yacolt. He went to grade school in Yacolt and high school at Battle Ground High.

After he graduated in 1963 he joined the Army. He did two tours in Vietnam and was stationed in Germany for a while.

After spending some time in the south, he came back to Washington. He settled in Yacolt across the street from where he was raised. 

Mike was very hard working. His yard was immaculate. He enjoyed working with his hands and made many different things out of recycled cedar fence. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and his oldest daughter.
