Doris Orefice passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, at the age of 93. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Sal, whom she missed dearly.
Doris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family above all else. Family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in time spent together-whether it was around the table, on vacation, or on one of her little adventures with those she loved.
She had a love for travel and truly enjoyed getting away, especially when it meant creating memories with family. Doris also appreciated the simple pleasures in life, including a good glass of wine, laughter and meaningful conversations. She had a quiet strength, a warm presence, and a way of making those around her feel loved and cared for.
Doris was born on June 24, 1932, in Minot ND and lived a long, full life rooted in love, resilience and family traditions that will carry on through generations.
Doris is survived by her sister Shirlee Vicaire, her children, Richard, Rocky and Roxanne; her grandchildren, Jason, Paul, Christina, Cassandra, Dustyn and Samantha; her great grandchildren, Sofia, Andrew, Jace, Levi and Sydney. She is also loved and remembered by their partners and extended family including Alisha, Jenna and Melissa.
Doris will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 16th at 11:00am at Laynes Funeral Services, located at 16 NE Clark Avenue, Battle Ground, WA 98604.
