Dakota (Hart) Deschamps

Dakota (Hart) Deschamps, 31, of La Center, Washington, passed away on May 13, 2026. 

Dakota is survived by his parents, Doug and Katrina Deschamps; his brother, Dustin Deschamps; and his sisters, Demica Deschamps and Deja Deschamps.

Dakota was previously a member of Laborers Local Union 737 and worked with Hoffman Construction, Inc. He was currently employed at Farwest Steel, where he was known for being hardworking, fearless, and taking great pride in his work.

Outside of work, Dakota enjoyed riding ATVs and dirt bikes, off-roading, and working on his many Jeeps and Dodge trucks. He loved wrenching on and modifying vehicles, as well as camping, fishing, trips to the beach and dunes, and spending time with his family and friends.

Those who knew Dakota will remember him for his huge heart, contagious humor, willingness to help anyone, and the way he cared deeply for the people around him.

Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
