Carol Sue Fox

Carol Sue Fox, 86, passed away on September 2, 2025, in Vancouver, Washington. Born on May 19, 1939, in Redland, Oregon, she lived a full and spirited life that touched many across generations. 

Carol was the beloved wife of Garland Fox, who preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her parents, Harold and Madge Johnson; her brother Jerry Johnson; her sisters Shirley, Peggy, and Linda; and her daughter Samantha Fox. 

She is lovingly remembered by her children Doyle Fox, Dwight Fox, and Susan Bisson. Her legacy continues through her many grandchildren: Shelby Fox Howell, Spenser Fox, Morgan Kerns, Meagan Davies, Jordan Ham, Sam Ham, Jasper Ham, Dextar Fox, Dalton Fox, Devon Fox—and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who carry forward her memory. 

Carol was known for her vibrant personality and unwavering honesty. She had a heart full of love for those she cared about and never hesitated to speak her mind. Whether sharing stories over a cold beer or enjoying a lively game night with friends and family, Carol brought warmth and laughter wherever she went. Her gift for conversation made her a cherished companion to anyone willing to lend an ear. 

She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. 

May Carol’s memory bring comfort to those who loved her and joy in remembering the life she lived so fully. A Funeral will be held on September 27, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Layne's funeral home 16 NE Clark ave. battle ground WA 98604. we will be holding a lunch after close by.
