Carol Lynn Andrews, a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024, at the age of 74 in Salmon Creek, Washington. Born on Sept. 13, 1950, in Vancouver, Washington, Carol's life was characterized by her unwavering dedication to her family, and her passion for the domestic arts of cooking, canning, and gardening.
Carol was married to Dan Andrews on May 29, 1999 in Battle Ground, Washington. They resided together in Clark County for 24 wonderful years.
Educated at Battle Ground High School, Carol's commitment to her roots was evident in every aspect of her life. She embraced the natural beauty of her surroundings and she loved spending time outdoors. Carol's home was always open to family and friends, she will be fondly remembered for the breakfast she hosted each year during the Territorial Days parade in Amboy, Washington. Carol cooked for many local establishments over the years including the historical Red Fir in Yacolt, Washington, the Little League Concessions in Yacolt, Washington and The Moose Lodge in Battle Ground, Washington.
Carol's memory is cherished by her loving family: her mother Ella Cahoon; her husband Dan Andrews; her children Taunna Harrell, Daniel (Bub) Boucher II, and Jennifer Anderson; her step-children Lisa Sanchez and Jordan Andrews; along with her many adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carol joins her late family members; her father, Howard Cahoon, and her brother, Larry Cahoon, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.
Carol Lynn Andrews, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her devotion to her family. Her legacy will continue to flourish through her many adoring children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered in the recipes and traditions that she handed down to her loving family.
In accordance with Carol's wishes, the Andrews family is welcoming you to join them in a celebration of her life to be held at the Amboy Mt. Valley Grange, 40107 NE 221st Avenue, Amboy, Washington 98601 on April 13, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be directed to the Moose Lodge, an organization that was dear to Carol’s heart.
