Annette Eleanor Lynn

August 27, 1945 — March 4, 2024

Amboy

Annette Eleanor (Stanly) Lynn, age 78, passed away peacefully from cancer on March 4, 2024 at her home in Amboy, WA with her family at her side. Annette was born August 27, 1945, in Raleigh, NC to Jack and Mamie Stanly. After high school, she graduated from Mount Olive College with an associates degree in accounting. Annette was united in marriage to Billy Lynn on July 17th, 1983. They raised their four children, Cynthia, Johnny, Billy and Ronald in Pikeville, North Carolina. During that time, Annette was also a teacher’s aide for the special needs children and a nursing assistant. Billy and Annette moved to Amboy, Washington in 2019. Annette’s love, joy, and cheerful attitude showed in all aspects of her life as she played games with her boys and visited with friends and family. She loved watching the snow fall, spotting a rainbow or lightning, and birdwatching. She was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church and, in weakness, held steadfast to her faith. Annette is preceded in death by her parents and her son Johnny Betts. Annette is survived by her husband Billy Lynn, two sons: Billy Jr with Connie of Vancouver WA, Ronald with Sheyenne of Winlock WA, a daughter: Cynthia Betts of Las Vegas NV, grandchildren: Wayne and Whitney Betts, two great grandchildren and brothers: Jack and Mike Stanly. Special thanks to Annette’s caregivers who took such great care of her over the past year and a half.
